Jessica Hall serves as Deputy Secretary at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts since July 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the implementation and development of Australian Government policies related to maritime, land transport, and road safety. Previously, Jessica held the role of Executive Director overseeing land transport infrastructure investment. Prior experience includes General Manager of Infrastructure Policy at the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, where advice was provided on infrastructure policy and funding reform, and various directorial positions focused on aviation and air services governance. Earlier career experience at the Department of Education and Science involved advising on international student legislation and negotiating bilateral science agreements. Jessica holds a Master of International Law from The Australian National University and a Master of Arts in Asian Studies from Monash University.
