Peter Lee

Peter Lee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and strategic management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Policy Specialist at the National Emergency Management Agency, Peter has previously held multiple leadership roles at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, including Director and Assistant Director. A strong background in business and technology was established during freelance work as a Business & Technology Specialist. As Chief Executive Officer of the Internet Industry Association, Peter focused on the Digital Economy and formed collaborative relationships with industry stakeholders. Additional experience includes managerial positions at TransACT Communications and Telstra, where responsibilities spanned regulatory affairs, capital works programs, and strategic planning. Peter holds an Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering from TAFE NSW.
