The Department of Personalized Health and Well-Being at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth brings together an interprofessional team to develop innovative, educational programs and research endeavors that focus on merging evidence-based lifestyle medicine with National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) coaching competencies. 

Our graduates will have foundational knowledge and skills that will prepare them to empower others to mobilize internal strengths and external resources in order to achieve true self-care reform. Our program is a one-year master’s degree with 15 online courses, 5 Saturday all virtual workshops, and 36 credit hours.
