Felix Ellis MP currently serves as the Minister for Housing, Planning and Consumer Affairs, Police, Fire and Emergency Management, Skills and Training, Racing, and Resources within the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Tasmania since July 2022. As a Liberal Member for Braddon since August 2020, Felix holds the positions of Leader of the House and Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier in the Tasmanian Parliament. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of the Devonport Chamber of Commerce & Industry and an Electorate Officer for Minister Richard Colbeck. Felix's background in plumbing encompasses roles as a Plumber and Gasfitter, alongside formal education including a Bachelor's degree in Global Logistics and Maritime Management from the University of Tasmania and a Certificate of Advanced Political Leadership from Monash University.
