Nathaniel Fick

Nathaniel Fick currently serves as the U.S. Ambassador at Large for Cyberspace & Digital Policy at the U.S. Department of State since September 2022, where responsibilities include leading efforts in cybersecurity, telecommunications, and emerging technologies. Prior to this role, Fick was the General Manager of Security at Elastic from 2019 to 2022, where leadership involved overseeing the company's global information security business. Fick also held the position of CEO at Endgame from 2012 to 2019, guiding the company to prominence in the information security sector before its acquisition by Elastic, and served as an Operating Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners from 2011 to 2019. Earlier roles include CEO of the Center for a New American Security from 2008 to 2012 and Infantry and Reconnaissance Officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2004. Educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPA in International Security Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and an AB in Classics & Government from Dartmouth College.
