Dillon Shije

Tribal-interior Budget Council (tibc) - Appointed Southwest Representative at Department of the Interior

Dillon Shije serves as the Deputy Director of the Office of Equity and Inclusion for the City of Albuquerque, leading initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Current roles include Health Commissioner for American Indian / Alaska Native Affairs, Albuquerque Area Delegate for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and appointed Southwest Representative on the Tribal-Interior Budget Council. Dillon is also a member of the Native American State Central Committee, a founding board member of the Pueblo Development Commission NGO, and a Tribal Councilman for the Pueblo of Zia. Dillon's experience in global development includes working as a Partner at Zia Impact and serving as Membership Liaison for the National Congress of American Indians. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and certifications from Harvard Business School, along with ongoing post-baccalaureate studies in Pre-Medicine at the University of Arizona and The University of New Mexico.
