Luke Taylor is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Depop since May 2020, Taylor has progressed through various engineering roles, including Head of Engineering and Lead Software Engineer. Prior to Depop, Taylor was with Guardian News & Media from September 2014 to May 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple engineering teams as Senior Engineering Manager and managing significant projects as Engineering Manager and Tech Lead. Earlier experience includes roles at Powa Technologies, ProQuest, and a background in software testing. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia.
