Paul Rimba

Paul Rimba has extensive experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at Deputy since June 2019, where leadership during transitions contributed to high team engagement and goal achievement. Prior roles include Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from February 2019 to January 2021, and Research Scientist at Data61, CSIRO from August 2015 to June 2019. Paul has also engaged in research roles at prestigious institutions like MIT Media Lab and NICTA. The educational background includes a PhD in Software Engineering from the University of New South Wales, where the thesis focused on high assurance secure applications, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the same institution.
