Chao Yang

Chao Yang's work experience began in 2011 as a Research Intern at Robert Bosch. In 2013, they joined Bazaarvoice as a Software Developer, where they worked on data visualization and a flexible business intelligence system. Chao then joined DerbySoft in 2016 as the Big Data Team Lead, where they built the infrastructure for Data Scientists and BI reporting and also played a role in building the company's second-largest marketing service team. In 2019, Chao became the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Manager at DerbySoft, and in 2020, they took on the role of Director of Innovation Team, spearheading efforts to explore new business opportunities and implement advanced technologies such as deep learning NLP models.

Chao Yang attended Zhejiang University from 2003 to 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. From 2007 to 2010, they pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Utah. Chao then continued their education at the University of Utah from 2010 to 2013, where they started studying for a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science but dropped out before completing the degree.
