Johan Blomgren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture, currently serving as a Senior Engineer & Architect at Dermicus since June 2022. Previously, Johan held roles as a Domain Architect and Senior Software Engineer at LeoVegas Group from June 2020 to June 2022, and as a Consultant at Netlight from 2015 to June 2020. Johan's early career included self-employment as a Software Developer and Freelance Photographer, along with iOS development roles at apegroup and THS Armada. Johan also has retail and logistical experience from working at Stadium and has contributed to various tasks in a production environment at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum. Johan's educational background includes studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Högskolan i Skövde, and Kärrtorps Gymnasium.

Our mission is to help healthcare providers re-engineer the diagnostic and treatment processes of skin conditions with purpose built technology and proven implementation methods. We focus on three solution areas: teledermatology, telewoundcare and skin imaging. The Dermicus platform is flexible and built to be configured to different care settings including hospitals, dermatology practices, primary care centers, pharmacies, nursing homes, visiting nursing. Dermicus is a separate entity to foster entrepreneurship and business agility and we are majority owned by Barco to bring financial stability, global resources and expertise.
