Dermicus
Matilda Wikström is an accomplished data scientist currently employed at Dermicus since September 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a machine learning engineer at Eneryield from October 2020 to July 2021 and a position as a master thesis worker at 1928 D, where the focus was on taxonomic classification of metagenomic short reads. Additionally, Matilda has interned at Solution Seeker as a data science intern and at Retail Solutions Inc. as a production operations intern, where responsibilities included project management and quality validation. Prior roles also include significant experience as a process operator at ABB Composites AB and as a shop assistant and cashier at Willys. Matilda holds a Master of Science degree in Complex Adaptive Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.

Our mission is to help healthcare providers re-engineer the diagnostic and treatment processes of skin conditions with purpose built technology and proven implementation methods. We focus on three solution areas: teledermatology, telewoundcare and skin imaging. The Dermicus platform is flexible and built to be configured to different care settings including hospitals, dermatology practices, primary care centers, pharmacies, nursing homes, visiting nursing. Dermicus is a separate entity to foster entrepreneurship and business agility and we are majority owned by Barco to bring financial stability, global resources and expertise.
