Ch. Muhammad Ahmad Shahid is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project management and interface engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Interface Engineer for the PARCO Boiler Project at Descon since August 2023, Muhammad Ahmad Shahid previously held the position of Lead Engineer PMT at AIMZ Engineering, where responsibilities included complete follow-up of design development and client coordination. Earlier roles encompassed senior engineering positions at IKAN Engineering Services, focusing on project monitoring, control, and client liaison, as well as a Team Lead Planning role at Qadri Group, managing execution plans and cross-company job shifts. Muhammad Ahmad Shahid holds an MS/MPhil in Project Management from the University of Management and Technology and a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from The University of Lahore.

Descon also owns two Independent Power Plants (IPPs), Altern Energy Limited, 32 MW gas based power plant and Rousch (Pakistan) Power Limited, a 450 MW combined cycle power plant. As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, Descon takes immense pride in educating underprivileged youth, keen to acquire technical skills and improving their livelihood through the Descon Technical Institute.
