Janaan Lake

Janaan Lake is a Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Deseret Digital Media since August 2023. Janaan completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a master's degree in Computing at the University of Utah, with a bachelor's thesis focused on optimized code generation for deep learning networks. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Science and Machine Learning Intern at KPMG Spark, where Janaan implemented machine learning algorithms, and a background in tax accounting, having served as a Senior Tax Accountant at Haynie & Company and a Tax Consultant at Nelson, Lambson & Co., LLC. Janaan's early career included positions as a Staff Accountant and Tax Intern at Hawkins, Cloward & Simister, LP. Education includes a Master of Science in Computing and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Utah, as well as a B.S. and MAcc in Professional Accounting from Brigham Young University.
