Julie Mathews

Julie Mathews is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in donor engagement, development, and operations within educational and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Operations, Advancement & Foundation at Desert Research Institute since October 2021, Julie previously held the position of Director of Development for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Nevada, Reno from May 2017 to October 2021. Prior roles include Development Director at Girls On The Run-Sierras and Director of University Relations & Marketing at the University Studies Abroad Consortium. Julie's educational background includes a Master of Education in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno. Julie also holds qualifications as a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory.
