Leah Madison

Leah Madison serves as the STEM Curriculum and Program Manager at the Desert Research Institute since November 2014, focusing on program development for faculty and community outreach while securing grant funding. Madison gained experience as a Research Fellow at the Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Center in 2023, collaborating with a team of scientists on natural resource management research. Previous roles include Commissioner for Urban Forestry with the City of Reno, Conservation Land Management Intern at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Volunteer Coordinator for Sustainable Tahoe, and various positions in educational and logistical support for international programs. Madison holds a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution.
