Steve Curtis

Steve Curtis is an experienced professional specializing in nuclear power and unmanned aerial systems. Currently serving as a speaker on the economic benefits of recycling spent nuclear fuel since July 2017, Steve also holds the position of Executive Director at Skybot Challenge, which promotes 3D robotics in K-12 STEM education. Simultaneously, Steve acts as the Business Development Coordinator for Unmanned Aerial Systems at the Desert Research Institute, fostering collaboration with local businesses. With a background as a Subject Matter Expert in radiological science since 2007 and previous roles in the Department of Energy focused on nuclear security, Steve has developed significant expertise in national-level exercises and radiological missions. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
