Jay Perkins is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and engineering innovation. As Vice President of Engineering at Design Central since April 1997, Jay leads projects for an internationally respected product development consultancy, demonstrating expertise as a creative innovator. Additional roles include serving on the Board of Directors for Form5 Prosthetics Inc. and volunteering as a Ropes/Safety Volunteer at Over the Edge Global. Previously, Jay directed engineering for the game table division at Escalade Sports and held the position of Lead Engineer at Harris Corporation, overseeing teams in multi-million dollar government and defense projects. Jay holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and the University of Kentucky, respectively.
