Tianyi Qi

Tianyi Qi is a Senior Product Designer at DesignMap since July 2021, after previously serving as a Product Designer in the same organization. Tianyi gained valuable experience as a Product Design Fellow at the Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity, where work focused on designing a cross-agency data matching platform. Other notable roles include Volunteer Designer at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre and Junior Designer at HUMANTIFIC, contributing significantly to various design projects, including an interactive online mapping tool. Tianyi's background is further complemented by internships at Brooklyn Public Library, OpenIDEO, DEED Research Lab, Yeh IDeology, and designaffairs GmbH. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Beijing Institute of Technology, and additional studies in industrial design at the University of Houston and National Yunlin University of Science and Technology.
