Frederic Girard is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity trading and capital markets. Since March 2019, Frederic has been serving as Managing Director and Head of Equities at Desjardins, previously holding the role of Managing Director for Capital Markets in Quebec. Prior to Desjardins, Frederic spent over 12 years at the National Bank of Canada as Head and Managing Director of Institutional Equity Trading. Additional roles include Vice-President positions in Institutional Equity Sales-Trading at Credit Suisse First Boston and International Equity Sales and Trading at Goldman Sachs. Frederic received formal education from HEC Montréal from 1993 to 1996.
