Maria Alejandra Edreira

Maria Alejandra Edreira is a seasoned professional in project management and internal auditing with extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as a Senior ERP Project Manager at Despegar since January 2021, Maria previously held various roles at Despegar including ERP Project Manager, Leader of Improvements and New Projects for Oracle eBS, and Functional Leader for the implementation of Oracle eBS. Earlier in their career, Maria worked as a Regional Internal Auditor in different organizations including AMCA Seguros y Asistencia Financiera and PwC, where responsibilities involved identifying internal control weaknesses and developing control circuits. Maria holds an Expert degree in Project Management from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and a degree in Public Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires, and is currently furthering education through Harvard ManageMentor at Harvard Business School.
