Samantha Antoun is an accomplished PR Manager with extensive experience in public relations, particularly within the tourism and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the PR Manager for International Campaigns & Agencies at Destination NSW, Samantha leads the organization's international PR strategy across key markets such as the US, China, India, and the UK. Previous roles at Destination NSW include managing international projects and contributing to the PR team's efforts to promote New South Wales. Samantha has also held senior public relations positions at Tonic PR & Communications and Merlin Entertainments plc, where responsibilities included managing PR strategies for iconic Australian attractions. Additionally, Samantha co-owns a tutoring agency and possesses a strong foundation in marketing and copywriting, enhanced by an academic background in Public Communication from the University of Technology Sydney.

Destination NSW is the lead agency, champion and voice for the visitor economy within the NSW Government. Spearheading a whole-of-government approach to visitor economy growth, Destination NSW is responsible for leading the delivery of the NSW Visitor Economy Strategy 2030 in partnership with government and industry. Destination NSW influences and shapes the visitor economy through strategic research, policy and thought leadership, stakeholder engagement and consultation, commercial partnerships and investment in visitor experiences, business support, marketing and events. Destination NSW is also the major investor in Business Events Sydney (BESydney) for the purpose of securing more international and domestic conventions, incentive travel reward programs, corporate events and exhibitions for Sydney and regional NSW.
