Felix Wass has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and industries. Felix started their career at Siemens AG in 1986, where they held several roles and advanced to Sales and Program Director, responsible for major wireless and GSM infrastructure projects across Europe. In 2001, they worked at Dolphin Telecom Europe plc as the VP Engineering Europe and CTO. From 2002 to 2004, they were a Management and Strategy Consultant at Siemens plc. Felix then joined Deutsche Telekom Consult / Fal Dete Telecommunications as the CIO and CTO, overseeing technology aspects and leading a team of 150+ staff. In 2009, they became the COO and Interim CEO at Azerfon, a mobile operator with a broadband subsidiary. In 2011, they worked as the COO at Meatel and simultaneously served as a Board Advisor at Private Investment Management. Felix provided strategy development and led investment opportunities in technology start-ups and environmental projects. From 2014 to 2016, they were an Executive Advisor in Private Equity at Blackmore Partners Inc., specializing in ICT/HighTech. Currently, they serve as the President and CEO of DETASAD, a position they have held since 2017.
Felix Wass completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrotechnical Engineering from Hoehere Technische Bundeslehranstalt fuer Elektrotechnik between 1981 and 1986. Later, they pursued an MBA in Finance at the University of Wales, Cardiff from 2011 to 2016, specializing in Finance, General.

The history of DETASAD goes back to 1982: starting with a small team of German telecom specialists expanding and modernizing the Telex network in Saudi Arabia. With the reputation built on this initial contract, Detecon al Saudia (DETASAD) operated and maintained all major telecom networks and services implemented by the Ministry of PTT/Saudi Telecom ever since. In 2004 DETASAD became a licensed VSAT service provider and quickly gained a leading position in the market. DETASAD offers a wide range of information communications services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Over the course of our recent projects, the strong market need for managed, integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services in the Saudi market became strongly evident.
