Magnus Aspling has a decade of work experience in the software engineering and technology field. In 2008, they began their career as a Repair Technician at PC Center Täby and Flipperdoktorn. In 2010, they moved into a System Administrator role at Luleå Academic Computer Society, where they were part of a large authentication upgrade from NIS to Kerberos with AFS and LDAP. In 2011, they became a Lab Instructor and workshop leader at Luleå University of Technology, helping and instructing students taking introductory courses in programming and leading programming workshops. In 2013, they moved into a Software Engineer role at Atex, where they were involved in making a new framework for handling widgets in an angularjs context and developing zero-training applications with a focus on responsiveness for use with phones and tablets. In 2015, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Klarna. In 2018, they moved into a Tech Lead role at Ping Pong AB. Since 2020, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Detectify.
Magn Aspling began their education in 2006, when they attended Cybergymnasiet Stockholm until 2008. Magnus then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) at Luleå University of Technology from 2009 to 2013, though they aborted their fourth year. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
