Mike Singer joined Ilitch Sports + Entertainment in January 2020 as Director, Corporate Partnership Strategy before being promoted to Vice President, Business Strategy & Activation in January 2023. In his current role, Singer oversees 15 activation colleagues and five strategy colleagues who drive and fulfill $100 million in corporate partnership revenue. He is also a liaison between all internal departments and the organization's concessionaire, Delaware North Sportservice, while managing all financial measurement and evaluation of corporate partnership assets.
Before joining Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, Singer served as a Senior Business Development Manager for Barton Malow Company, where he led business development efforts for sports construction projects and sourced sponsorships with teams that align with sports construction projects.
Prior to his time at Barton Malow, Singer spent more than five years with the Detroit Lions, first as a Corporate Partnerships Sales Executive before being promoted to Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships, where he created strategy for corporate partnership revenue growth, led sales and renewal process on strategic relationships and implemented large corporate partnership activations.
Singer also brings seven years of sports marketing agency experience from his time at The Marketing Arm, where he evaluated and negotiated sports and entertainment partnership on behalf of AT&T, including partnerships with the Olympics, Formula One, the Dallas Cowboys, University of Michigan and others.
