John Jones began their career in 2005 with Stathakis as a Building Maintenance employee. In 2012, they moved to Detroit Thermal Systems, LLC where they held three different roles. John was Lead Maintenance Supervisor over skilled trades and contracted work on all of the equipment, special projects and was in charge of coordinating contract work, as well as the goals and assignments on the other shifts. John was also Hex Production Supervisor, in charge of the Hex brazing, VIC testing, and other evaporator and heater core operations. John managed 44 people in their department and was changing the foundation, processes, and flow of the Hex dept. Lastly, they were Logistics Supervisor, responsible for leading a team, contacting and setting up deliveries and pick ups with suppliers and the main plant. John was also responsible for inventory control, dunnage control and ordering, as well as training, scheduling, discipline, and installing new procedures.

John Jones attended Wyandotte Roosevelt from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a diploma in required studies.
