Joachim Schelm

Joachim Schelm is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in capital markets and corporate law. Since July 2006, Joachim has held various senior roles at Deutsche Bank, currently serving as Team Head in the Legal Capital Market & Advisory department, alongside roles as Director and Senior Counsel. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Joachim worked as an Attorney at Gleiss Lutz and gained research experience at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law and Albert Ludwig Universitaet, Freiburg. Additionally, Joachim co-founded and served as Co-CEO of SP GmbH, an IT healthcare software company. An accomplished academic, Joachim holds multiple legal qualifications from prestigious institutions, including a Legal Clerkship from Hamburg Court of Appeals, a Ph.D. candidacy at the University of Freiburg, and a guest researcher position at Harvard Law School.
