Matthias Tobe

Matthias Tobe serves as the Head of Global Pricing Sales & Service at DEUTZ AG since December 2009, overseeing product strategy, project assignments, budget procurement, and product profitability. Prior roles at DEUTZ AG include Product Manager and Project Manager for Purchasing, where responsibilities involved managing material cost reduction projects and global sourcing initiatives. Matthias has also worked as a Project Leader in Thermodynamics for Compact Engines, focusing on the development of industrial diesel engines in compliance with emissions regulations. Prior to DEUTZ, a diploma thesis was completed in the field of gasoline engine pre-development at Volkswagen AG, and initial experience was gained as a Workshop Manager and Customer Service Technician at Bosch Car Service. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University and a Diplom-Ingenieur in European Mechanical Engineering Studies from Hochschule Osnabrück.
