Mulugeta Worku is currently the Internal Audit Division Head at the Development Bank of Ethiopia. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Accountant at the same organization. Their previous experience includes working as an Insurance Supervisor at NBE and a junior insurance examiner at the central bank of Ethiopia. They obtained their MSC in Accounting and Finance from ADAMA SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Ambo University.

Currently the main focus is export oriented and import substitute projects for large scale manufacturing , agroindustry, agriculture and mining sectors. With respect of SMEs its major focus is Capital goods lease financing and agriculture, manufacturing, and agro-industries are also part of the financing scheme. To achieve its mission the Bank works with a number of stakeholders and partners.
