Marcel Sagastume is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and management. Currently serving as Controller - Associate Director at Developmental Pathways since July 2022, Marcel oversees financial operations within a community-centered board that connects individuals to essential funding. Previous roles include Controller - Associate Director at Non-Profit Management Services of Colorado, where management services were provided for multiple non-profits, and various positions at Xcel Energy, including FP&A Manager and SAP Implementation Manager. Marcel also has accounting experience with EPrime Energy Marketing and Copper Mountain Resort. Marcel holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Regis University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado.

Developmental Pathways is a Colorado non-profit agency created to serve persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities or delays (I/DD), and their families. We were originally established in 1964 as a community-based alternative to institutional care and over the years have developed a broad array of services based on the principle that full inclusion and participation in community life is attainable for every individual with an intellectual or developmental disability. As an organization, we are committed to enriching the lives of people with I/DD by partnering to provide expertise, support and advocacy in their pursuit of a meaningful life. As a Community Centered Board, Developmental Pathways provides support to those we serve and their loved ones through intake, eligibility enrollment, and case management services and supports. We are devoted to ensuring that all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays receive support by engaging our community in the innovation and implementation of person and family centered practices.
