Matt VanAuken is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and organizational development across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Developmental Pathways, Matt oversees all company operations and service delivery while also fulfilling the role of President at Continuum of Colorado, Inc. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Jefferson County Human Services, where Matt directed a team of 125 professionals, and as Chief Operating Officer at Bigg City Entertainment, overseeing significant growth in restaurant and entertainment venues. Additional experience includes regional oversight in the restaurant industry at Champps Americana and Hard Rock Cafe. Matt holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University and bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Communications from the University of Phoenix and the University of Arizona, respectively.

Developmental Pathways is a Colorado non-profit agency created to serve persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities or delays (I/DD), and their families. We were originally established in 1964 as a community-based alternative to institutional care and over the years have developed a broad array of services based on the principle that full inclusion and participation in community life is attainable for every individual with an intellectual or developmental disability. As an organization, we are committed to enriching the lives of people with I/DD by partnering to provide expertise, support and advocacy in their pursuit of a meaningful life. As a Community Centered Board, Developmental Pathways provides support to those we serve and their loved ones through intake, eligibility enrollment, and case management services and supports. We are devoted to ensuring that all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays receive support by engaging our community in the innovation and implementation of person and family centered practices.
