Mia Ries is an experienced content manager and communications specialist currently employed at Developmental Pathways since April 2022. Previously, Mia served as a classroom lead at Washington Street Community, focusing on engaging educational activities for elementary and preschool students. Mia's early career included writing and communications internships at Florida State University, where responsibilities involved researching, writing, and editing articles for digital and print publications, as well as managing website content. With dual Bachelor's degrees in Editing, Writing, and Media and Communication and Media Studies from Florida State University, Mia possesses a solid foundation in effective communication and media practices.

Developmental Pathways
Developmental Pathways is a Colorado non-profit agency created to serve persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities or delays (I/DD), and their families. We were originally established in 1964 as a community-based alternative to institutional care and over the years have developed a broad array of services based on the principle that full inclusion and participation in community life is attainable for every individual with an intellectual or developmental disability. As an organization, we are committed to enriching the lives of people with I/DD by partnering to provide expertise, support and advocacy in their pursuit of a meaningful life. As a Community Centered Board, Developmental Pathways provides support to those we serve and their loved ones through intake, eligibility enrollment, and case management services and supports. We are devoted to ensuring that all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays receive support by engaging our community in the innovation and implementation of person and family centered practices.
