Lauren Weekes is a highly experienced Consultant Anaesthetist at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust since September 2019. In addition to this role, Lauren serves as the Medical Director for Devon Air Ambulance and has extensive experience as a BASICS Devon doctor from August 2010 to September 2024. Previous roles include HEMS doctor at The Air Ambulance Service, anaesthetist within the NHS, and Education Officer for BASICS Devon. Lauren also held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Thruxton Motorsports Centre. Lauren Weekes completed a BM Medicine degree at the University of Southampton from 1999 to 2004.
