Matt Cannon

Matt Cannon is a seasoned professional in the field of reservoir engineering with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently a Technical Lead and Advising Reservoir Engineer at Devon Energy, Matt has also served in multiple capacities within the company, including Subsurface Team Lead and Sr. Staff Reservoir Engineer in the Delaware Basin. Prior to joining Devon Energy, Matt worked at Newfield Exploration as a Reservoir Engineer and at BP in a similar role. Matt's early career included a position as a Production Engineer at Citation Oil & Gas Corp. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Oklahoma and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
