Shruthi Racha

Shruthi Racha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science, focusing on front-end design and rendering of Indic text for an Android application. In 2013, they joined Ittiam Systems Pvt Ltd as an Engineering Intern, where they worked on designing and implementing the billing module for a cloud-based video transcode service. Following this, they joined VMware as a Member of Technical Staff, analyzing complex issues and providing knowledge transfer sessions on ESX storage stack and snapshot mechanism.

In 2015, Shruthi joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Graduate Research Assistant, working under Professor Barton Miller on the SWAMP project, which enhances the precision and scope of software applications. Shruthi then returned to VMware as a Member of Technical Staff 2, gaining knowledge about virtual environment snapshots and the ESXi storage stack.

In 2016, Shruthi interned at Nutanix - Acropolis Hypervisor Team as a Member Technical Staff Intern. Shruthi later joined Nutanix as a Member of Technical Staff, working on various projects related to Acropolis, FLOW (Microsegmentation), and Xi (Hybrid Cloud) Networking.

In 2020, they joined Skyflow as a Senior Software Engineer and worked in that role until April 2022. Currently, they are employed at DevRev as part of the Engineering team, starting in April 2022.

Shruthi Racha completed their high school education at St Francis Xavier Girls High School from 1994 to 2007. Shruthi then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from RV College Of Engineering between 2009 and 2013. Shruthi continued their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Shruthi Racha also obtained several certifications. In June 2015, they completed the "Computer Science and Programming Using Python" certification from edX. Shruthi also obtained "The Analytics Edge - Using R" certification from edX in June 2015. Furthermore, in April 2012, they achieved the "DB2 9 - Database and Application Fundamentals" certification from IBM Certified Academic Associate.
