Ben Matthews

Ben Matthews is a seasoned professional in real estate with extensive experience in portfolio and development management. Currently serving as the Real Estate Divisional Portfolio & Development Manager at Dexus since March 2023, Ben oversees a team responsible for retail and mixed-use assets across Australia, focusing on long-term investment and development strategies. Prior to this role, Ben was the Real Estate Divisional Investment & Development Manager at AMP Capital from September 2020 to February 2023, leading a team on East Coast retail and mixed-use developments. Ben's career includes key positions at AMP Capital Investors, where responsibilities included managing a substantial $2.5 billion development pipeline, and at Macquarie Group and Lend Lease in senior project management roles. Ben holds a Master of Business Administration from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney.
