Dearbhla Doyle

Dearbhla Doyle is an experienced diplomat currently serving as the Director for Eastern Neighbourhood & OSCE at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland since September 2022. Previously, Dearbhla held prominent positions including Head of the Political, Security and Development Section at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States from September 2018 to December 2022, and Regional Coordinator and Political Assistant to the Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia at the European External Action Service from April 2014 to December 2022. Earlier roles include European Correspondent at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Deputy Head of Mission and Political and Economic Officer at the Embassy of Ireland to Italy, and Vice Consul at the Consulate General of Ireland. Dearbhla Doyle holds a Bachelor of International Commerce from University College Dublin and has studied at Università degli Studi, Bologna.
