Celia Sasic is a Board Member at DFB. Celia was previously a professional football player for the DFB national team, VfB Stuttgart 1893, and FC Bayern München.
Sasic began their football career with the FC Bayern München youth team in November 2002. Celia made their professional debut with the club in July 2003 and went on to play for them until June 2005. During that time, they also played for the DFB national team from February 2004 to September 2014. In July 2005, they transferred to VfB Stuttgart 1893 and played for them until June 2017.
Sasic has been involved with the Philipp Lahm Foundation since its inception in 2006. In 2015, they founded Philipp Lahm Holding, which is a minority shareholder of the foundation.

In 1981 the DFB GmbH was founded as an independent and 100% subsidiary of the German Football Association for marketing of products and licenses. With the integration of DFB-Medien GmbH & Co. KG in 2017, all IT topics were also bundled in the DFB GmbH. The company's current range of services includes marketing & sales, IT & digital services and the event management of major events. The Managing Directors are Dr. Frank Biendara and Denni Strich.
