Justin Kao

Justin Kao currently serves as a Partner at DFJ Growth since 2021, following a role as Partner at Khosla Ventures from 2020 to 2021. Prior to these positions, Justin co-founded Helix in 2015, where dedication to making DNA digitally accessible aimed at improving health outcomes. From 2010 to 2015, Justin was Vice President in the Healthcare Group at Warburg Pincus, focusing on growth investments in various healthcare companies. Earlier experience includes roles as an intern in Corporate Development at Onyx Pharmaceuticals and as a Summer Associate at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. Justin began a career at The Boston Consulting Group, where work included strategic consulting for healthcare and tech clients. Educational credentials include an MBA and JD from Stanford, alongside an MS in Bioengineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
