Bernd Kiefer

Bernd Kiefer is an experienced Senior Software Engineer and Researcher with a career spanning over three decades in artificial intelligence and software development. Currently at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since April 2022, Bernd previously held the position of Senior Research Engineer at paragon semvox GmbH from March 2020 to March 2022 and worked as a Senior Software Engineer/Researcher at DFKI from 1989 to February 2020. Notably, Bernd served as the Principal Investigator for the MLT group in the EU-funded project PAL and has been a member of the DelphIn Consortium from 1990 to 2011. Bernd holds a Diplom-Informatiker degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes, obtained in 1989.
