Duway Nicolás Lesmes León is currently a Research Assistant and Early-stage Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since February 2022. Previously, Duway served as a Student Assistant in Core Facilities at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) from February 2021 to December 2021, and held a full-time Technical Support Staff position within the Molecular Bacterial Genetics Laboratory at Universidad El Bosque, a Class A Colciencias research group, from February to April 2019. Duway also gained experience in Internal Management at Salud Integra IPS and completed internships at Universidad El Bosque's Molecular Bacterial Genetics Laboratory and Corporación CorpoGen. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau (2022-2026), a Master of Science in Life Science Informatics from The University of Bonn (2019-2021), and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Universidad El Bosque (2013-2017).
