Jan Petershans is a Scientific Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since October 2021, with a focus on classifying individuals based on anonymized EEG data and participation in poster presentations at the 17th International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientific Assistant at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern from November 2019 to January 2021, where Jan developed a programmable Fischer Technik industrial system for educational demonstrations and created experiments for school students. Earlier internships at Pepperl+Fuchs Gruppe and HAHN Automation GmbH involved technical tasks such as battery testing, assembly of aluminum frames, and the construction of a portable speaker box. Jan Petershans completed education at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from October 2015 to January 2023.
