Wei Jiang is a Senior Research Scientist at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since October 2015 and also serves as a Senior Lecturer in "Wireless Communications" at the University of Kaiserslautern since April 2016. Previously, Wei Jiang was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Duisburg-Essen from September 2012 to December 2015 and worked as a Research Engineer at Huawei from March 2008 to June 2012, focusing on wireless communications technology research and 3GPP standardization. Initial career experience includes internships as an Engineer Intern at Orange in 2007, developing IMS software, and at Siemens from 2005 to 2006, working on an RFID-based positioning system. Wei Jiang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Beijing Information Science & Technology University.
