Ameya Sathe

Ameya Sathe is an Expert Metocean Engineer and Project Manager at DHI, overseeing Metocean Site Conditions Assessments for offshore wind farms since July 2022. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Metocean and Loads Engineer at Ørsted, where Ameya conducted analyses critical for cost-effective offshore wind farm development and contract reviews from February 2016 to July 2022. Ameya's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Wind Energy from Delft University of Technology and earlier research positions at leading institutions. Key contributions to various EU projects and successful postdoctoral research funding showcase a strong foundation in wind energy and hydrology, complemented by experience in software consultancy.
