Craig Walker is an accomplished Information Governance Manager with extensive experience in Information Governance, Freedom of Information, and Data Protection. Currently serving as the Information Governance & Risk Manager at Diabetes UK since September 2019, Craig has previously held multiple roles at St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, including Data Protection Officer and Head of Information Governance & Quality Assurance. With a strong background in providing advice, guidance, and training on Confidentiality and Data Protection Principles, Craig has developed and implemented various policies and procedures, conducted investigations on Information Security incidents, and produced annual reports for the Information Governance Board. Craig holds a BSc in Sports Studies with Business Management from Edge Hill University and is pursuing further education in privacy.
