Charles Lacy

Charles Lacy serves as the Global Director of Security at Diageo since September 2019, overseeing the company's global security function, which includes security risk management, intelligence, investigations, crisis management, and business continuity. Prior to this role, Lacy was the Chief Security Officer at World Fuel Services from February 2017 to September 2019, managing security and resilience for a Fortune 100 oil and gas company. Lacy also held the position of Head of Risk and Resilience at Canary Wharf Group plc from February 2012 to February 2017, focusing on risk management and strategic security planning in a major financial district. Previous experience includes roles at the UK Ministry of Defence, where Lacy managed operations and investigations, and as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army with the Royal Yorkshire Regiment. Lacy earned a BA Hons in History from the University of Bristol and completed studies in Leadership and Management at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
