Qing Yang

Qing Yang is a seasoned materials scientist and metrology engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor and materials science sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Metrology Engineer at Diamond Foundry since November 2023, Qing previously held roles including Materials Scientist and Metrology Lead at Leia Inc. from November 2017 to August 2023, where responsibilities included optical metrology for optoelectronic devices, quality control, and project management. Prior to that, Qing worked at Nanolab Technologies and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, gaining expertise in failure analysis, X-ray tomography imaging, and the characterization of materials. Qing earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and a B.S. in Materials Physics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing.
