Guy Thomas has over two decades of experience in health, safety, and environmental management across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of the SHE Group at Diamond Light Source since January 2010, Guy has contributed to the advancement of scientific research at a leading synchrotron facility. Prior to this role, Guy held positions at Abbott, focusing on environment, health, and safety in medical device manufacturing and pharmaceutical healthcare from June 2003 to December 2009. Additionally, Guy served as the Health, Safety & Environment Manager at Bookham from April 2000 to May 2003, overseeing safety protocols in the semiconductor manufacturing and research sectors.
