Konstantin Ignatyev is a Principal Beamline Scientist at Diamond Light Source since April 2012, previously holding the position of Beamline Scientist. Prior experience includes a Research Associate role at University College London from December 2008 to April 2012, focusing on X-ray phase contrast imaging. Konstantin also served as a Research Associate at Argonne National Laboratory and Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource from 2005 to 2008. As a Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at Northwestern University (2001-2005), Konstantin implemented experimental methods for material investigation and conducted data analysis. Earlier, Konstantin worked as a Research Assistant at Ioffe Institute, developing systems for measuring MOS devices. Konstantin holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University, and a Diplom in Optoelectronics from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University.
