Chiyu Dong

Chiyu Dong is an accomplished Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at DiDi since June 2019, specializing in developing interactive systems for dense traffic scenarios and leading efforts in behavior planning for multi-lane maneuvers using data-driven approaches. Prior to DiDi, Chiyu completed a Ph.D. in Electronic and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, with a focus on behavioral prediction and planning for autonomous driving. Chiyu also served as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon, contributing to advancements in perception and behavior planning in autonomous driving and holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Automation from Tsinghua University.
