Julian Schoemig is the Co-Founder and CEO of Diesta, a company focused on developing a next-generation payment processing engine for the insurance industry, a role held since March 2022. Prior to this, Julian held various positions at Munich Re from June 2018 to February 2022, including Underwriter for the Aviation business and part of the core Innovation underwriting team at Lloyd's Syndicate 1840, as well as working as a Strategy Analyst and International Graduate Trainee. Julian's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Finance from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Ilmenau.
